VNV Nation - Ronan Harris

this is Ronan Harris, vocalist of the band VNV Nation, one of my favourite interprets. i always wanted to design a wallpaper in this style, but i never knew how. there are very few hi-res pictures of people singing, and when i started to get used to working with illustrator, i thought hey, i could vectorize one. very minimalistic, but it has an atmosphere. i wanted his face to be all dark and that you can only see the arc of light on his outlines. the two lines on the top are from the song Nemesis from Judgement (2007) and i think they really fit there. you can't actually hear his voice, can't you? but if you look closer, you'll see it.
